Totally Nuts!

The other day I bought a bag of peanuts.

The back of the bag listed the ingredients: peanuts

and below that–

“Allergen Statement: May contain peanuts.”

I am a rather obscure 14th C. poet, whose work has been translated into over thirty dialects of gibberish. I now spend my days translating from the gibberish into English and back again, as need be.

  1. Overly conscientious marketing department staff did their homework. Just to be sure, check the contents of the bag with your neighborhood squirrels.

  3. Hilarious and so typical of what is required, but then some people need things like this spelled out. Gotta go check my bag of peanuts to see if it is similarly labelled.
