After attending a very nice concert yesterday afternoon, I went to the reception, held at a school next door. The building had a sign: “no – nut school.”
Impressive, I thought, till I went inside.
The reception offered, among other things, bowls overflowing with almonds.
How nutty!
That is such a nutty thing for a no-nut school. But according to my “Nuttographer Manual,” if this was a “classy” concert, then the appropriate nut is the one considered the “elegant” nut and those are the almonds. Hope that helps. . . .

Very helpful. You’re so lucky to have a “Nuttographer Manual,” and I am so lucky you shared that classy, elegant info with me.

Maybe the admissions office didn’t accept nutty students or faculty. An elite school serves almonds rather than common peanut butter. Munch, Crunch!
