A Nutty Tale

After attending a very nice concert yesterday afternoon, I went to the reception, held at a school next door. The building had a sign: “no – nut school.”

Impressive, I thought, till I went inside.

The reception offered, among other things, bowls overflowing with almonds.

How nutty!

  1. That is such a nutty thing for a no-nut school. But according to my “Nuttographer Manual,” if this was a “classy” concert, then the appropriate nut is the one considered the “elegant” nut and those are the almonds. Hope that helps. . . .

  2. Maybe the admissions office didn’t accept nutty students or faculty. An elite school serves almonds rather than common peanut butter. Munch, Crunch!
