Cause For Celebration

Not only is July National Ice Cream Month, but it’s also the fifth anniversary of my blog!

Perhaps I’ll celebrate…with ice cream!

  1. Any reason, any celebration, large or small, is a reason to enjoy ice cream, Congrats on five years. It is hard to believe it has been five years since Red Room closed. And I was working towards achieving the never-ending toilet roll by collecting points. ~nan

    1. I know–I can’t believe it either. The new fad here is donuts stuffed with ice cream, but maybe we can invent donuts with ice cream and dark chocolate and another donut! Congratulations to you, too!

      1. Thank you–it really doesn’t feel like 5 years! I have had “Deep Fried Donut” which is a donut stuffed with ice cream–the ice cream was still firm. . . .even though it was deep fried when it was ordered 🙂 I thought It should have been drizzled with dark chocolate, instead they scattered sliced strawberries and fat blueberries with a sprinkle of honey roasted sliced almonds over it all.

  3. Congratulations for the Blog’s Anniversary! Reading the blogs is as much fun as licking an ice cream cone. Glad for the Alert about Ice Cream Month–I’d hate to miss that, just in time for the last days of July.
