Sew It Goes

I’m so attached to some clothing, despite it being very worn or holey, I keep it in my closet in a bag. Every so often, I reach into the bag to do some sewing. I don’t know why I procrastinate, when it so happens I like sewing. It’s meditative and a good way to stay in the moment.

So the other day, I decided to attend to a pair of navy blue tencil jeans that I love dearly, but hadn’t worn in awhile, due to a holey situation. I sewed and sewed and felt so very satisfied when I finished. Only to discover I had sewed part of the pants to the sweater I had on.

I suppose that’s one way to keep clothes attached to me.
